This is likely a reference to Skaði:
It's implied Anne Hathaway also has the Skaði or a Skaði-like PT.1
Skaði is also considered a giantess because many Skaði and Skaði-like PT's can act collectively. Surtr is considered a giant because he represents a collective consciousness. However, there is no Surtr PT (as far as I know).
People use the Marcie technique to try to neutralize Skaði on level-2. The Marcie technique is named after the character Marcie Ross from Buffy the Vampire Slayer who became invisible because her classmates ignored her.2
Frances McDormand may have made a reference to Skaði and the opportunity for even more female collective empowerment during her Academy AwardL1 speech:

Investigators hired Robert Peschka, a handwriting expert who testified that most of the notes on the envelope were written by Harding, while other notes were written by her then-husband, Jeff Gillooly. It was this piece of evidence that cracked the case."3
