Magni: Green Arrow |
So weird English speakers keep failing to pronounce Nordic languages letters.— b9AcE (@b9AcE) February 25, 2018
Can say "sir" and "nerd", where "i" and "e" is like "ö", but e.g. "ragnarök" is said "ragnarock"
Saying "saw" is fine, where "aw" is "å".
Saying "sad" is fine, where "a" is "ä".
But… noope!
Weird.
Most of the Norse mythology familial relations can be ignored. Loki should not be Hel's dad. Thor should not be the father of Móði and Magni.1One of my favorite sounds in any language I've encountered is one in the Chinese,— b9AcE (@b9AcE) February 25, 2018
for example in the Mandarin "tahnk you"... "xiexie".
Pronunciations vary by regional dialects, of course and I don't know enough to name the one I liked. :-D
I think @jwpnfld (Jon Parsons, Arjuna PT) and @b9AcE (Arjuna-like PT, Lakshmana PT2) would be good candidates for Móði and Magni.
Móði and Magni
—Vafthruthnismol (51), Bellows' translation1
Móði PT and Magni PT probably can't use Mjollnir (a level-2 weapon) except cooperatively. Using Mjollnir requires team work on their parts (and loyalty to real economicsL2 and real civilization).
Sept. 5, 2018: Mjollnir used to strengthen inverse-civilization doesn't work with the level-2 annhilator-2 in place.3
