The US invaded SOUTH Vietnam

The only good song of Miss Saigon is "Too Much For One Heart" which was cut from the musical.  I've heard some of the songs from the soundtrack, but I don't want to waste my time watching a musical that implies US military forces were in Vietnam to help the Vietnamese.  American forces literally kept innocent South Vietnamese people in cages because slave-makers didn't want the South Vietnamese to escape their level-2 control.² American military forces protected the South Vietnamese like the IDF protects Palestinians.³
