The Philadelphia Experiment
"There are no reliable, attributable accounts, but in most accounts of the supposed experiment, USS Eldridge was fitted with the required equipment at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Testing began in the summer of 1943, and it was supposedly successful to a limited extent. One test resulted in Eldridge being rendered nearly invisible, with some witnesses reporting a "greenish fog" appearing in its place. Crew members complained of severe nausea afterwards. Also, reportedly, when the ship reappeared, some sailors were embedded in the metal structures of the ship, including one sailor who ended up on a deck level below that where he began and had his hand embedded in the steel hull of the ship, as well as some sailors who went "completely bananas." There is also a claim the experiment was altered after that point at the request of the Navy, limiting it to creating a stealth technology that would render USS Eldridge invisible to radar. None of these allegations have been independently substantiated." 1
I've messed up on Level 2 before. For example, when I used social media at home I would get disconnected from the group and Dorianism filled in right away. I would then go out to reset the connection. It's comparable to repairing a cut wire. I'm still aware of where I generally am in terms of the second level of communication. On Friday, I messed up a bit by using my Starbucks app from parkade where I’m not detected on Level 2. Radio and phone work in parkade, but not Level 2. #Fernology🌿 #noetics pic.twitter.com/mpQxf371Hn— Pan (@pan142017) November 27, 2017
The parkade incident was completely different. Firstly, I wasn't even using social media. I just accepted a Starbucks challenge on the app. I didn't even make an online purchase (which I can do above ground and from home without disconnecting from Level 2). However, I'm considered invisible in the parkade on Level 2. Using the app from the parkade disconnected me from Level 2. When I arrived at Starbucks, I had a horrible feeling in my gut and I no longer knew where I was on Level 2. I'm still confused. Things feel very different. It's like I teleported to some random location.
Luckily, I'm not solely guided by my position on Level 2, though it would be nice to know where I am. I can use the CIP staff which is created from Level 1 concepts to guide me.2

Obviously, the tales of the mishaps of the Philadelphia Experiment are symbolic. I'm almost positive it's a reference to what happens when you disconnect from Level 2 in a location where one is considered invisible on Level 2. One reappears in a random location (on Level 2) and can even appear where there are supposed to be "walls" (on Level 2). Anybody who only knows how to use Level 2 would be really confused. However, if I just switch back to Level 1, it won't be so confusing. I can use the CIP staff like a compass until I figure out where I am. It makes no difference to me if there is a "wall" on Level 2. If it's not there on Level 1, then I'm going through anyway.
