Security?

The first time I tried to put up this banner at the University of Alberta, I placed it at the end of HUB mall just to see what would happen.  A woman who administered the adjacent business building said I needed permission to place a banner in HUB or the business building.  I asked her who controlled the pedway and she said she didn't know.  We both agreed that I would place the banner in the pedway.  Afterward, she went and called security on me rather than just coming and speaking to me.

Eventually, I asked for university approval to put up the banner.  As I was waiting for them to respond, I decided to go to different economics classes before the class began to discuss the banner with students.  Professors don't control who can give pre-class presentations—the university does.  I've seen many people give pre-class presentations before.  I wanted to see what would happen.  I ran into professors who were Athenian-style slave-makers, jackass FS-types, and ones who knew they were doing wrong.  There was one sophist female professor who didn't even teach economics, but thought she controlled the time interval after her class ended which is not true.  She also called security on me.

Eventually, I did get to put up my banner anyway, but it was very telling to see just how deeply fascist people at the university level are when it comes to trying to suppress very obvious facts.
