Fighting in the Devil's army for as long as possible
Trump had no lack of support from conservative Christians. I remember one Christian tweeting: "I'm glad Trump is in power, but I'll be happier when Jesus is in power." Basically, Christians are saying they will work with the forces of evil and fight against forces of good until forces of good are powerful enough to overtake that evil. Then they will just change sides. It's like saying "I will fight with the Devil against Christ and the forces of good for as long as I can. If the forces of good ever become powerful enough to beat the forces of evil, I will just switch to the winning team. Basically, I'm just willing to go along with whoever has more power." Do people with this mindset honestly think there are no repercussions for their betrayal?
Sinister forces know that Christianity poses no threat to evil. The common use of Christian symbols to dispel evil in horror movies is laughable.
