The year is 2417 CE.  The entire planet runs on a system of global direct democracy using emocracy where only individuals who can discuss the second level of communication on the first level of communication are considered sane and honest enough to vote and write law.  Sociopathically insane individuals were expelled from the Americas in the twenty-second century — many deported back to the European peninsula and other parts of the world.  The planet falls into chaos as a result and full-scale war in the Old World breaks out.  Eventually, inverse-civilization collapses altogether and sociopathically insane individuals largely fade out of existence.  Zionism collapses alongside inverse-civilization.  Individuals who were loyal to inverse-civilization are severely punished.  By the twenty-third century, the sociopathically insane who remain have all been contained in prisons or psych wards.  Saying the second level of communication isn't real is considered the same as saying computer programming isn't real so one can avoid compensating computer programmers.  Native Americans regain control of the Americas in the twenty-fourth century and their right to the land is recognized internationally.  All non–Native Americans in the Americas are regarded as immigrants or descendants of immigrants; the sane and civilized among them are granted citizenship.

Mayalanta is a region that includes most of what was Mexico as well as lower regions of what was the United States of America.  All Mayalantan institutions are subject to the Self-Dissolving Principle which is meticulously enforced by the general public.  Instead of bloated bureaucratic labyrinths, administration for the state, law enforcement, and public services are kept at minimal necessary levels.  Property within Mayalanta is always transient, must be democratically approved, and can always be democratically redistributed.  Citizens of Mayalanta receive a democratically-approved basic income. There is no poverty in Mayalanta.

A Mayalantan family living on a farm on the outskirts of the city of New Tikal experience a break-in in the middle of the night.  An alarm is tripped and police arrive on the scene.  Upon seeing police, the intruder throws out a large metal ball that hovers in the air and pulls a controller device out of his pocket.  One of the officers has seen this weapon before.  Once activated, the ball will burst into a swarm of mechanical insects.  

"Don't even think about it!" one of two officers aiming their blasters at the criminal commands.

Before the criminal can acitivate the weapon, his body is enveloped in blue plasma and he falls paralyzed to the ground, revealing a third officer that had been standing behind him the entire time.

Democratically-approved use of physical force was employed in this scenario.
